Debb is a highly proficient Executive Producer, her extensive production experience over 25 years in broadcast television is unrivalled. Starting her career on This Morning before producing acclaimed documentaries such as My Skin Could Kill Me and Full Frontal in Flip Flops, a Bafta award-winning film about British naturism. Debb was instrumental in developing and producing Channel 5’s ground-breaking series, Family Confidential, one of the first fly-on-the-wall documentaries about real families.
Debb continued producing, directing and filming for 10 years; the highlights being Animal Cops for Discovery Networks and Army Wives for Channel 4’s Bloody Balkans Week. Filmed and developed by Debb herself, this one-off documentary followed two Army families during the Kosovo crisis both at home in Britain and in a county on the brink of war.
Over the last 15 years Debb turned her attention to formatted series, series editing and executive producing some of Channel 4’s ambitious, high-end factual and entertainment formats such as Embarrassing Bodies LIVE, How to Look Good Naked, Super scrimper, 100K House: Tricks of the Trade, My Kitchen Rules, Gok’s Teens, Goks Teens – acclaimed spin-off films on Transgender, mental health issues, obesity and lifestyle formats for TLC working for various indies including Remarkable, Wonder, Maverick and Blakeway North. Debb sat in a key leadership role as Executive Producer at Blakeway North, overseeing production and a broad development slate, and most recently worked as an Executive Producer on ‘We are England’ a new current affairs programme for BBC.
