Great Canal Journeys returns for its 10th series with some familiar faces and some new! Good friends Sheila Hancock and Gyles Brandreth are handed the tiller by Tim and Pru and set out along the Thames and the Lee Navigation in a two-part special on London’s waterways. In episode 3, Sheila and Gyles journey the tricky to navigate Caldon Canal and the Trent and Mersey Canal in the Potteries of Staffordshire. The final episode sees the pair boating the beautiful Staffordshire Worcestershire Canal meeting new friends along the way. Sheila and Gyles are celebrating 40 years of friendship – will boating together be a bumpy ride, or will it bring them closer together?
