Hosted by one of the UK’s favourite presenters, Masterpiece With Alan Titchmarsh is a unique game-show set in some of Britain’s most stunning stately homes. The series pits teams of history and antiques fans against each other in a series of challenges. From valuing antiques to deciphering the age of a collectible, their amateur antique skills are put to the test as they battle to secure their position in the ‘Masterpiece Gallery’. Inside the ‘Masterpiece Gallery’, three objects are on display; two are decoys, but one is so exquisite or rare that it is worth £10,000 or more, the Masterpiece. Our teams use all their skills and experience to try to work out which is the Masterpiece and add it to their collection. The team that has successfully collected the most ‘Masterpieces’ wins a £1,000 prize. Will their love of antiques be enough to take home the cash prize?
